Sao Gabriel Thai Garden, is an offshoot of the main restaurant Sao Gabriel, holder of a coveted Michelin Star, and is set in a small glass building just to the right of the entrance. The chefs are all from Thailand flown in especially every year and certainly know what it takes to create fantastic Thai cuisine

Set close to the reknowned Algarve resorts of Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago, the São Gabriel Thai Garden offers a quality dining experience in a relaxed garden setting. Just right for lazy summer evenings.

For starters we had some delicious spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce and for mains shared a beef Penang curry which was both sharp and sweet, you could taste the freshness in the ingredients and the sauce was delicious with hints of both chilli and nuts, it is also fair to say the chef knows his way round the spice rack. For dessert we had the passion fruit crème brulee which was a tasty treat to cool the palate.

The Sao Gabriel Thai Garden was a breath of fresh air, to see your food being cooked in front you by the Thai expert and sipping a cold Thai beer you could imagine yourself in Thailand. During the summer months the chairs and tables are spread along the restaurant patio adding to the wonderful tropical feel.
